Reliance Jio on Sunday started shipping its JioPhone to 6 million customers who booked the smart feature phone last month. The first batch will be delivered to customers within 15 days. The company will be giving priority to rural areas followed by smaller towns and metro cities. Reliance Jio has promised that all customers who had pre booked the JioPhone will receive the units by Diwali. Reliance Jio has not yet announced when it will resume booking of the JioPhone.
