Congress chief Rahul Gandhi criticised the NDA government in Bihar over a woman allegedly burned alive and accused the Nitish Kumar dispensation of "hiding" the "electoral gains" event.
Along with his tweet of criticising the state government, Mr. Gandhi posted a media storey that reported that the incident of burning a young woman alive in Vaishali had been kept under wraps since the elections had taken place. The woman died 15 days after struggling for her life in the hospital, the article said.
"Whose crime is more dangerous? Who did this cruel act or who hid it for political benefit to lay the foundation of his bogus "good governance" over this "misrule"?" Gandhi said in a tweet in Hindi.
According to the media report, the woman was threatened by a man from her village who along with his friends, reportedly burned her alive.
