Two National Conference (NC) workers were shot dead and another injured after unknown gunmen fired at them in Habba Kadal area of Srinagar on Friday.   SSP Srinagar Imtiyaz Ismail confirmed the deaths of two NC workers in the firing incident.   The slain were identified as Mushtaq Ahmad Wani and Nazir Ahmad while the injured as Shakeel Ahmed Zangoo.   A senior official said that unknown gunmen fired at three NC workers in Karfalli Mohalla today morning, leaving them injured. The two of them succumbed were rushed to SMHS hospital.   An official said the whole area has been cordoned off to nab the attackers.
