Supreme Court to hear petition seeking CBI probe today

The Supreme Court (SC) today will hear the petition seeking CBI probe into the brutal Rasana (Kathua) rape and murder case.
The petition seeking CBI probe is listed for hearing at serial number 41. Justice Lalit and Justice Chandrachud will hear the petition.
The accused will be represented by Advocate Ankur Sharma and Advocate Chandan Sharma who will put before the apex court their arguments for demanding CBI probe into the case.
Presently, the hearing of the rape and murder case of the eight year nomadic girl of Rasana is going on a day to day basis in a Pathankot court.
The case was transferred to Pathankot from Kathua by the Supreme Court on the plea filed by the victim’s family.
More than eighty witnesses have so far recorded their statements before the Pathankot.
