Pilgrim dies enroute to Vaishno Devi shrine

A Vaishno Devi pilgrim died of suspected cardiac arrest at Bhawan located in Trikuta Hills of Katra town in Reasi district of Jammu and Kashmir on Tuesday.
“An information was received from Dispensary Bhawan that one pilgrim Duryodhan Pradhan, 63, resident of 71 Pump Road, Ward Number 17 Chakradharpur, Pashchimi
Singhbhum, Jharkhand, suddenly fell unconscious near X-Ray machine at Bhawan,” police here said.
He was on his way from Katra to Bhawan.
“He was immediately shifted to dispensary at Bhawan, where doctors declared him brought dead,” police added.
The body has been handed over to family after legal formalities.
