J&K Govt slashes taxes on Fuel, Diesel and Petrol Cheaper by Rs 5

The Governor administration in J&k on yesterday at midnight announced a relief of 2.5/litre on petrol and diesel to consumers hours after the centre cut price of the fuel by Rs 5. Following the cut in rates by the centre and state Government, Petrol and diesel will be cheaper by Rs 5 from today.
The revised rates of Diesel and petrol are Rs 71.7 and 80.67 respectively. The public has welcomed the decision but appealed the Government to bring fuel under the GST in order to get relief from the ever rising prices of petrol and diesel in the country.
