Ruling the box office during eid, India’s most bankable star Salman Khan’s Race 3 hits theaters on June 15th with huge expectation. This was the highly anticipated Bollywood action adventure movie in 3D from director Remo D’Souza. Race 3 is light on characterization and heavy on the stylized brand fetishization. The movie crossed the benchmark of a whooping 100cr in India releasing in around 4200 cinemas and is heading towards a 200cr collection worldwide. A source shared, “#Race3 races ahead at the global box office, mints 181.32 Cr worldwide gross over the first weekend. @BeingSalmanKhan @SKFilmsOfficial @tipsofficial @RameshTaurani @remodsouza.” Apart from Salman the movie also features Anil Kapoor, Bobby Deol, Jacqueline Fernandez, Daisy Shah, Saqib Saleem and Freddy Daruwala. On Sunday reports suggest that the collection was as high as Rs 39.16 crores. Race 3 is Salman’s fourth film to register such a huge number at the box office in an opening weekend. Race 3 opened its account at Rs 29.17 crores, becoming the second highest opener of 2018 after Padmavati. However, the movie was very poorly reviewed by almost all the major sources. Very popular movie reviewer Rajeev Masand was surely not happy about the movie and gave it 1 out of 5 stars. The movie has become a target of trolls ever since the trailer released majorly because of its dialogues and logic-defying the plot and stunts. The internet has been flooded with memes, which are very entertaining. The trolls on the internet started with Daisy Shah’s dialogue “our business is our business, none of your business” from the trailer. The Mumbai Police also joined the “none of your business” meme brigade and were rocking it like always. Keeping all jokes aside, 'Race 3' is one of the most anticipated movies of the year.
