In a major breakthrough, Jammu and Kashmir Police have recognized the attackers who executed senior columnist Shujaat Bukhari on June 14. Police sources say that two of the assailants are from South Kashmir and another is a Pakistani national. Two of them are neighborhood activists from south Kashmir while the third one is from Pakistan. Police sources say that the Pakistani aggressor engaged with the assault is Naveed Jatt, who got away from police authority from Shri Maharaja Hari Singh (SMHS) doctor facility in February this year. Naveed, a Pakistani national, is related with Lashkar-e-Toiba (LeT).
