Xiaomi India has launched its 6^th edition of the Redmi series which is the Redmi 6 smartphone, starting its sale in India from 10^th September 2018. The Xiaomi Redmi 6 is a great smartphone which is bundled with a number of features. The smartphone has a good RAM capacity for multitasking and comes with a fingerprint sensor. However, a better battery would have made it a great option in this price range.

It features a 5.45-inch IPS LCD display with a screen resolution of 720 x 1440 pixels and a pixel density of 295 PPI. In addition, the device also offers a fingerprint sensor for screen unlocking.

As for the storage, it is equipped with an internal capacity of 32GB and can be further extended up to 256GB through SD card.

The Redmi 6 snaps a dual primary camera setup containing 12MP and 5MP lenses which capture quality photos and videos. For the front camera, the device provides a 5MP lens which takes good selfies. The smartphone powers a 3,000mAh Li-ion battery which is good enough to keep it running for almost a day.

The device is powered by a Cortex A53 octa-core processor with a clock speed of 2GHz and a 3GB RAM which assures of handling multiple tasks simultaneously. A PowerVR GE8320 GPU is also present in the smartphone supports the graphical requirements. This combination is coupled as a MediaTek Helio P22 chipset.

In terms of connectivity, the Redmi 6 provides 4G with VoLTE, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, Mobile Hotspot, GPS and a micro USB.
