Former Prime Minister Manmohan Singh criticized Narendra Modi govt., saying that the Govt. has crossed all its limit and it has done a lot which is not in the interest of the nation. He also made a remark on rising fuel prices for which the oppositions were protesting.
Monday turned out to be a wide protest against rising fuels from Rajgaht as Bharat Bandh. The protest led by Congress president Rahul Gandhi accompanied with leaders of various opposition parties.
Moreover, Singh urged opposition parties to shed their differences and unite to save democracy in the country.
Political parties have left behind their old issues, they are moving forward united, said the former prime minister.
The bandh began after Rahul Gandhi returned from Kailash Mansarovar and paid tribute to Mahatma Gandhi at Rajghat by offering holy water from the pilgrimage there.
