Phantom revolves around the after effects (that could have been) of the 26/11 terrorist attacks in Mumbai. It depicts how the masterminds could have been punished. Even after 7 years, the culprits still havent been caught or punished. This is a story of unsung anonymous Indian heroes who fight our battles with terrorism. Kabir Khan makes you feel that this is real but moments of cinematic liberties take away the originality.Based on Hussain Zaidis novel Mumbai Avenger, movie is fast paced with twists and keeps you wanting for more action. The second half of the film has even more thrilling when the plot shifts base to Pakistan. Best part of film is that it solely deal with terrorism without any religious elements being highlighted. Kabir Khan shows how common people in Pakistan are also victims of terrorism and that the war against terrorism has nothing to do with countries but people who are enemies of humanity.
