If there is little to go through with recent estimates of daily new Covid-19 cases registered in the region, the third wave of Covid-19, the worst one ever, could well be heading for a downturn. Experts, however, assume that the number of fresh cases registered in the city would not drop significantly.
The city has witnessed a decreasing pattern since November 11, the day which saw the biggest single day spike of about 8,500. Buoyed by the help of experts, the city's chief minister and health minister believed that the high was over.
