A 50-year-old woman was held captive by her brother on the terrace of his house in northwest Delhi’s Rohini for the past two years and was rescued on Tuesday in a very bad condition. In the state of Uttar Pradesh, a mystery viral fever has claimed many lives. On September 21 at least 84 people had died due to fever in the last six weeks from across six districts of UP, prompting the Yogi Adityanath government to issue a high alert in the state. 100 teams of medical experts have been deployed in seven districts of Uttar Pradesh.   According to reports, 24 people suffered from fever in Bareilly, which was the region most affected, whereas 23 people lost their lives in the adjoining district of Budaun.
